obsession de semaine
This week has been a pretty slow one. I've spent a lot of time just hanging out and not doing much but sometimes you need weeks like that.
Journal Update I'm still really enjoying my journaling. It's starting to become part of my daily routine. I've begun looking forward to my journaling every night and it is really starting to stick. I've always loved writing so this is really helping me to get back into it. My inspiration came from a Humans of New York post. It was really inspiring to me and I hope to many other people as well.
If you've never seen or heard of Humans of New York, it is a really cool thing one NY photographer does. He walks around NYC taking pictures of strangers and asking for stories and quotes. I follow Humans of New York on Facebook and that's how I found out about it. You can also follow him on his blog, here.
Love Does This is a book I began reading a while back and I'm just now getting around to finishing it. It's written by Bob Goff who was and still is very involved in YoungLife, something that I've loved and been apart of for about three years now. In Love Does, every chapter is a new lesson with a story that goes along with it. He uses these stories from throughout his life to relate back to how love works and how Jesus works in crazy ways. It is an amazing book that helped me to realize all of God's little miracles in life. His stories are comical, serious and touching all at the same time. If you get a chance to read this book or already have, leave a comment below and tell me what you think!
